Three Men in Another Boat - 2011

Good luck to Chris, Andy and James, our ‘Three Men in Another Boat,’ who are rowing 90 miles in two days to raise over £3,000 for AV^UK.

Last summer these three intrepid oarsmen rowed upstream from Kingston to Oxford in three days, raising over £5000 for AV^UK. This year they are upping the ante, aiming to row back, from Oxford to Kingston in just two days. That's 45 miles and 16 locks per day!

Chris says "Without the help of Auditory Verbal UK our own daughter Alice, would not now be preparing to enter reception at a school she adores and is fully settled in with her friends."

London Marathon 2011

Congratulations to our London Marathon runners, Adam, Dan and Gaby who together have raised over £7,800 so far. Aimee’s aunt Gaby finished just 15 minutes over the Olympic qualifying time!

Dan explains: "AV has taught Jake to learn through listening and given us the hope and belief that he will be able to lead a normal life like his peers."
