Professional Training: Courses Professionals are warmly invited to join the courses run by AVUK at our centres in Oxfordshire and central London. Additionally, please use the menu bar on the left to find out about our Open Mornings, Guest Speakers, Auditory Verbal Special Interest Group for SLTs and other training opportunities.
Time and Location All courses take place at Auditory VerbalUK centres, and run from 1000 hrs to 1600 hrs (registration from 0930 hrs) unless otherwise specified. We respectfully request that delegates do not arrive before 0930 hrs. Our Oxfordshire and London centres are both conveniently located for links to public transport. Directions to our premises are sent to delegates with confirmation of their registration. Course Fees The relevant fee includes all course materials and refreshments. Where specified, lunch is also included (please remember to notify us of any special dietary requirements). Fees are payable on receipt of invoice. Where special rates, eg Early Bird**, have been applied these will revert to the standard rate if the invoice is not paid by the due date. Where fees have not been paid prior to a course starting, we reserve the right to refuse entry to the course. **See individual course information for fees and details of Early Bird offers Registration AV training packages: please email courses@avuk.org for an application form. Other courses: register online at www.avuk.org/coursereg.html. You will normally receive confirmation of your place within 48 hours of registering. Please refer to individual course information for details of place numbers and registration closing dates. Please do not assume that your place has been reserved until you receive email confirmation from us. If your booking has not been confirmed by email within 5 days then please telephone us on 01869 321492. To ensure delivery of your confirmation email, please add courses@avuk.org to your safe senders list. You may also provide a second / alternative email address on our booking form. Cancellation Policy If we cancel: We reserve the right to cancel the course. In the unfortunate event of a cancellation by us, all course fees will be reimbursed. If you cancel: Written cancellation must be given by you before the course registration closing date to obtain an automatic refund of course fees. We regret that fees cannot be refunded for any cancellations received after the course registration closing date; however in these circumstances you may transfer your course fees to a colleague for the booked event, providing the new delegate details to us prior to the event date. Accommodation All our courses are non-residential and delegates are responsible for making their own arrangements if they require overnight accommodation.
