We are delighted to announce an evening for parents on Wednesday 26th May. If you are a parent of a primary school child and are beginning to wonder about what to expect when they start secondary school then this event is for you!

During the evening you will hear first-hand from parents about their child’s experiences of navigating secondary school.

The evening is open to any family who has been, or is currently on the programme at Auditory Verbal UK.

Our ‘speaking panel’ will be made up of AVUK parents, Auditory Verbal therapists and an Local Education Authority specialist who will share their experiences of secondary school – preparing for the big day, starting, settling in and a few years down the line. Along with their parents, they will talk about the fun bits, some of the challenges and their ‘top tips’ (which they wished somebody had told them at the time!).

Afterwards there will be an opportunity to speak to other parents and the AVUK team.

If you have a specific question you would like to submit in advance we will do our best to try to answer this as part of the discussion. Please do enter the question when you register below.

The evening is open to any family who has been or is currently on the programme at AVUK.

You'll receive details on how to join our parent evening when you sign up, so please keep an eye on your email. Sometimes our emails might end up in the spam or junk box, so don't forget to check there too.

We look forward to seeing you there!
