This one day course is for early years practitioners who want to learn more about developing early listening and speech in babies with hearing loss. 

Delegates will learn to select developmentally appropriate toys and activities to stimulate babies' thinking and develop their listening skills. 

Key topics include:

  1. How to check what baby can hear
  2. What to expect  - listening; play;  babble and first words
  3. Making play a learning experience
  4. Being auditory
