A workshop for professionals working with deaf children on how to use hearing technology to develop strong listening and spoken language. 

This workshop will serve as an introduction to the Auditory Verbal approach and how to apply the principles of audiology, speech & language therapy and education into practice as a clinician/educator. 

This workshop lasts for two hours and includes:

  • A presentation on Auditory Verbal therapy and how it differs from other methods;
  • Applying speech acoustics to the Ling sound check
  • A question and answer session;
  • An opportunity to speak to a member of staff about the training opportunities available at Auditory Verbal UK and bursaries available.

This course is open to Audiologists, Teachers of the Deaf and Speech & Language therapists.
