I'm a professional Course dates Managing Challenging Behaviour - FULLY BOOKED Teams Webinar Thursday 11 April 2024, 10am (BST) This online 2-hour course will focus on tips and recommendations to manage challenging behaviour in preschool children with hearing loss. At any age, challenging behaviour is indicative of a sensory overload. Children find sensory overloading difficult to manage by themselves and therefore rely on adults to get through them. Attendees will learn strategies to analyse the possible causes of a meltdown, tips on how to help the child regulate themselves, and give the child the language needed to get through that situation in the future. Attendees will also explore ideas on how to be one step ahead of a meltdown and try to avoid them happening again. This course is open for parents, speech and language therapists, Teachers of the Deaf (TOD), Early Years practitioners, university students, and trainee TODs. We'll send you the Teams link in your confirmation email, as well as the day before the event. Sometimes our emails might end up in the spam or junk box, so don't forget to check there too. Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, this event is now fully booked. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please complete this form. Manage Cookie Preferences
