Our Chief Executive, Anita Grover, is today being awarded with a Fellowship from the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO), along with four other leaders in the charity sector.

The Fellowship, which is sponsored by the Leadership Trust Foundation, aims to champion inspirational and emerging leaders from across the UK.

Each Fellow receives a free place on the Leadership Trust development programme worth over £3,000; a personalised development plan; an ACEVO mentor; a free place on an ACEVO Masterclass; a pack of ACEVO publications and, a year’s free membership.

Paul Farmer, Chair of ACEVO said: “ACEVO and the Leadership Trust Foundation are delighted to announce these awards. They are only ever issued to candidates of the highest quality whose passion, professionalism and ability to inspire place them at vanguard of emerging leaders. Their beneficiaries, causes, staff and boards are all fortunate to have these individuals at the helm. Too often hard work and vision do not get the recognition they deserve. These awards attempt to address that deficit.“

Anita Grover said: "It is a huge privilege to be awarded this Fellowship by ACEVO and for our work at Auditory Verbal UK to be recognised by the charity leader’s network. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experts at the Leadership Trust and across the ACEVO network.  I would like to thank the panel of judges and sponsors of the Fellowship for their support."

Our Chair of Trustees, Claire Campbell, will be accepting the award on Anita’s behalf at a reception in Portcullis House, Westminster, on Thursday 8 December.
