In 2015 our CEO, Anita Grover, was the first chief executive in the UK to receive the Macquarie Group's David Clarke Social Innovation Fellowship. Anita was awarded £10,000 which funded multiple trips to visit world leading organisations at the forefront of delivering innovative listening and spoken language programmes.

Last summer Anita was lucky enough to visit First Voice centres in Australia and New Zealand and more recently the AG Bell Convention in Denver, Colorado.

Anita said: "One of the long-term benefits of the Fellowship is the scope for collaboration in the field of research and development. It has given me not just the insight and experience, but the confidence and connections to take forward the strategic development of our small charity and transform the provision of services for deaf children in the UK."

Applications for the 2016 Fellowship open on 13 July 2016, providing a grant of £10,000 to a non-profit CEO in the UK who has a compelling rationale to research social innovation internationally. Click here to find out more.
