We are absolutely delighted to have a Christmas single released to support our work with deaf children at Auditory Verbal UK (AVUK)!

Christmas Day was written and produced by nineties superstar Beverley Craven. Beverley has joined forces with her Woman to Woman bandmates Judie Tzuke and Julia Fordham to record the festive number.

The song also features 11 children who we have worked with at AVUK, their siblings, and children from local primary schools.

Despite thinking her writing days were behind her, Beverley penned Christmas Day after being approached through a personal connection with the charity and then got her Woman to Woman bandmates onboard. Beverley said:

My partner received a phone call from a friend a month or so ago asking if I’d be interested in putting some words down for a Christmas song for AVUK. What started off as something quite small is now going to be our new song with proceeds from sales going to AVUK, and I’m really, really excited about it.

We are so grateful to Beverley, Judie, Julia and their team for helping give more deaf children the opportunity to learn to listen and speak. We are also thankful to all the families who took part in the recording.
