Celebrity supporters

On (or around) Friday 20th October schools, workplaces and individuals across the world will dig out their LOUDEST shirts to take part in Loud Shirt Day 2023.

  1. Register to take part in Loud Shirt Day
  2. Download our Loud Shirt Day Pack which has downloadable resources full of ideas, activities to do in your loud shirts and materials to support you to raise as much as possible for deaf babies and children. You could hold a bake sale, do a sponsored silence or show off your loud shirts with a fashion show.
  3. Set up your JustGiving page – JustGiving is an easy and simple way to collect sponsorship and donations from your friends, family and colleagues. Click here to find out how you can set up your page.
  4. Share your story – now that you’re all set up, it’s time to tell your friends, family and colleagues about Loud Shirt Day and how you are supporting Auditory Verbal UK to create a sound future for deaf children! Share it on social media using #LoudShirtDay, update your JustGiving page with your progress or put-up posters in your local area. 
  5. Be as loud as possible on (or around) 20 October – and remember to have fun! Although Loud Shirt Day is officially taking place across the world on 20th October 2023, you can hold an event at any time during October.
  6. Send in your donations. You can do this either online via our donate page or by cheque. For cheques, please make them payable to Auditory Verbal UK and send them to us at Auditory Verbal UK, 82- 86 Jamaica Road, SE15 4BA. Don’t forget to include a note about who you are so we can thank you properly!
