Alison Smith, Trusts and Foundations Manager

Alison joined AVUK in May 2024 having worked as a fundraiser for several years in charities, including at Age UK, the Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People and Parkinson's UK. Most of that time has been spent in trust fundraising and she has a real passion for matching trust funders to great projects and enabling them to start or continue to make a difference. She will be using those skills to support our 10 year mission to help all families who want their child to be able to listen and talk to access Auditory Verbal Therapy

Following our recent successes with trust funders at AVUK, Alison is adding to our team resources, enabling us to make more applications, as well as keep donors engaged with our work and send them high-quality reports. She enjoys meeting funders and getting to know about our work from colleagues and families, so do get in touch.

Alison works on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9am-5pm
