Auditory VerbalUK is an award-winning national charity that supports deaf babies and young children across the UK.

This is a rare opportunity for a school/college leaver or someone with previous experience in an administrative/PA role to join a dynamic charity that needs to expand its operational team to support the organisation’s growth and activities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised, positive and hard-working individual to join our team in Bicester, Oxfordshire. This post is full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) although consideration would be given to part‑time/flexible working for the right candidate. The role is varied, encompassing many functions including HR, IT, facilities and administration, and offers the opportunity to develop in areas of particular interest.

Overview

The operations team is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the charity across its two centres in Oxfordshire and London and encompasses many functions including HR, IT, facilities and administration. The work is varied and involves plenty of liaison with colleagues, trustees, health, education and hearing professionals and families of deaf children. The successful applicant will need to be adaptable and organised and there is the opportunity to develop the role in areas that are of particular interest. The specific duties of the Operations Assistant are to support the Operations Manager in the various functions.
