Here are a few fundraising ideas:

  • Ask fellow students and university staff to give a £2 donation to wear their brightest shirts to lectures.
  • Hold a RAG Raid and organise a bucket collection in your city – be as colourful and LOUD as you can to spread the news about Loud Shirt Day!
  • Plan a Jailbreak event where groups of students try to get as far away as possible from your campus for FREE. Ask for a donation from students to take part and organise a prize for the group that gets the furthest!
  • Nominate your friends on social media to post a loud shirt selfie – our own version of the Ice Bucket Challenge or the No-Makeup selfie - and make your social media feed as loud as possible to raise awareness of the work AVUK do.

Loud Shirt Day officially takes place on 20th October but feel free to have events at any time of the year – such as a wonderfully LOUD celebration event for the end of exams!
