AV therapy with deaf children with additional needs 5 December 2024 10:00 – 12:00

This 2-hour online course will focus on how Auditory Verbal therapy principles can be used to support the development of listening and spoken language in deaf children with additional needs. Attendees will learn how to set differentiated goals with parents that are tailored for the child and their individual needs. The course will also provide attendees with strategies on how to maintain high expectations while being thoroughly diagnostic in their sessions. 

This course is open for parents, speech and language therapists, Teachers of the Deaf (TOD), Early Years practitioners, university students, and trainee TODs.
