Auditory Verbal UK has been chosen by the new Mayor of Bicester to be one of his charities of the year.

Throughout the next 12 months, our charity will benefit from various fundraising events being hosted to raise money for local charities.

On Monday 8th May we were invited to attend the inauguration of the new Mayor, Cllr Les Sibley. The inauguration was held at Bretherton's law firm in Bicester.

Charlotte, our Corporate Relationships Manager, who was at the inauguration last night said:

We are thrilled to have been chosen as one of Mayor Sibley’s charities for the year – there will be lots of fantastic events happening in and around the Bicester area that we very much look forward to being a part of.

Cllr Les Sibley, Town Mayor of Bicester, said:

It is a privilege to nominate Auditory Verbal UK as one of my chosen charities for the Mayoral year. On a recent visit to their complex at Chesterton near Bicester I was impressed by the work of committed and dedicated volunteers, who along with the parents achieve remarkable results with the children. To see the transformation of children from an early age grow in confidence and communicate with others after one to one tuition and therapy is life changing. This has allowed some children to go on and acheive amazing things in their lives. I am looking forward to working with Auditory Verbal UK throughout the year to raise awareness and much needed funds for this ongoing project, starting on the 16th June with  "Loud Shirt Day".
