Listen and Talk as One is a unique initiative  that brings together the skills of paediatric audiology (from Chear) and listening and spoken language specialists (from Auditory Verbal UK) under one roof in London. The initiative is supported by hearing technology manufacturer Phonak.

The initiative was launched on Wednesday 22nd January 2014 with an event at Parker Tower in Holborn attended by professionals and organisations working with deaf children and their families.

Chear is widely regarded as a leader in the field of private paediatric audiology in the UK. Founded by Dr Josephine Marriage, their approach to treating children has led to continuous advances over years. Combining her background in speech science, Dr Marriage uses a holistic approach, assessing how a child speaks and their language abilities, in order to help their hearing.

Headquartered near Zurich, Switzerland, Phonak, a member of Sonova Group, has developed, produced and globally distributed state-of-the-art hearing systems and wireless devices for more than 60 years. The combination of expertise in hearing technology, mastery in acoustics and strong cooperation with hearing healthcare professionals allows Phonak to significantly improve people’s hearing ability and speech understanding and therefore their quality of life.
