Tuesday 7^th November. In a room over-looking the Thames and the Tower of London, Jeremy Paxman met his match.

Known for his hard-pressing interview style, we thought we’d challenge Paxman by turning the tables.

The lucky interviewer was AVUK’s fantastic young ambassador, Beatrice Cadman. At just 14 years old, Bea has already impressed an audience at the House of Commons and so she was the perfect match for Paxman.  

Questions ranged from the most interesting person Paxman has interviewed, how social media has changed the way people interact with the news, and the meaning of life. 

The interview took place as a thanks to some of our extremely generous supporters.  Marsh kindly sponsored the evening by hosting the event in their fabulous Thames Suite.
